Ulthera tightens skin tissue using focused ultrasound technology. Given the nature of this procedure, it is particularly effective when it comes to tightening the contour of the face (i.e. around the jaw), eyebrows, neck, and décolleté.
During the treatment, your physician will use a handheld device to deliver ultrasound waves to your subcutaneous tissue – or, put simply, the innermost layers of your skin. The ultrasound device will create thousands of tiny attachment points under the epidermis, dermis, and hypodermis, encouraging tissue regeneration.

Ulthera, which is a corrective treatment, can be alternated with Thermage, which is a preventive treatment. In order to continuously promote collagen production and maximize the effects of your ultherapy procedures, Dermapure also recommends supplementing your regimen with 4 treatments of Venus Freeze/Venus Legacy per year.
