MicroLaserPeel is a treatment that removes a thin layer of damaged skin to improve its texture and restore a more youthful appearance. This treatment, performed with a laser, allows for ultra-precise control of the desired depth. Each treatment can be customized to your skin condition and desired results.
The laser beam precisely and evenly scans a thin layer of skin. Removing the surface layer of skin removes some of the cells damaged by the elements and the sun. The dead cells that are removed are replaced by new cells. The result is younger-looking skin and a more even skin tone.
Since only the top layer of your skin is treated, most patients will see a noticeable improvement in texture and evenness of skin tone as soon as the skin heals, which is about 3 to 4 days.

A meeting prior to the intensive MicroLaserPeel treatment allows you to better understand your expectations and your skin condition and thus build a personalized treatment plan.
Taking pre and post-treatment photographs is an important step, as it allows you to visualize the evolution of your skin condition over the course of the treatments. It is also an opportunity for you to better understand the treatment and to visualize the long-term results.
Carefully removing all traces of gel, makeup and lipid film is an essential step in the treatment of MicroLaserPeel . It is also important to disinfect the skin well in order to create an adequate and sterile canvas for the procedure.
Desensitizing the skin with a numbing gel containing lidocaine will reduce the discomfort experienced during treatment. This product is applied and then left on clean skin for approximately 45 minutes before treatment.
The doctor will position the laser over the area to be treated and the scanner, assisted by software, will move the laser precisely. Depending on the size of the area to be treated, a treatment can last from 15 to 30 minutes.

The use of a sunscreen is recommended to protect your skin which will initially be more sensitive, but also to preserve it from premature aging caused by the sun.
Pregnant or breastfeeding women should delay this type of treatment, as well as anyone who has received Accutane treatment within the last 6 months. Patients exposed to the sun, in tanning booths, having used self-tanning products or taking photo-sensitizing medications should delay treatment.
The face, including the neck and décolleté, as well as the hands are treated with the MicroLaserPeel treatment, depending on the desired results.
