DERMAPURE

Treatment and Technology

A dermapure physician treating a patient

Fotona 3D is a combination treatment that includes Smoothliftin, Piano, and Frac3. This layered approach is designed to tighten and lift your face to reveal a revitalized and youthful appearance. Fotona 3D treatment targets imperfections like hyperpigmentation and creasing, effectively smoothing the skin.

Each treatment uses the revolutionary Fotona technology to target a different concern, giving you a personalized and holistic treatment that will help to highlight your natural beauty.

This treatment is suitable for fair, medium and dark skin tones.

Smoothliftin

A pulse of laser light, known as Smooth Mode, is delivered by the Smoothliftin laser at low speeds to safely be performed inside the mouth. The beam is aimed at the mucosa membrane inside the mouth to target the underlying tissues of the inner cheeks. The controlled thermal effect produces a wound-healing response and the stimulation of collagen remodelling.

The treatment has also proven effective for mild to moderate perioral wrinkles, better known as lip lines.

Piano

Piano causes bulk tissue heating by concentrating the energy delivery subcutaneously. It uses a unique super-extended seconds pulse and a brushing technique to complete full-thickness bulk heating to the dermis while sparing unnecessary thermal damage to the epidermis. It is also indicated for the promotion of wound healing and scar prevention.

Frac3

What makes Frac3 unique is that it creates a self-induced 3-D fractional effect, which is localized to pre-existing skin damage. A Frac3 beam is whole upon delivery to the skin and is fractionated by the skin’s imperfections as it proceeds toward the subcutaneous tissue. As a result, the tissue is treated only where required.

You’ll meet with an expert to discuss your skin goals so they can create a personalized treatment plan that is perfect for you.

We take pictures of the treatment area to compare your before and after results.

We’ll go over the consent forms with you before treatment and answer any questions you may have.

Fotona 3D uses a combination of laser wavelengths throughout the treatment area to effectively address various concerns. You may experience a warming sensation, which is generally well-tolerated. An anesthetic gel may be applied prior to treatment to increase your comfort.

Once your appointment is complete, you can return to your activities as normal. However, your skin may appear flushed and red for up to 30 minutes post-treatment.
