Dr. Al-Khoshi began her medical journey at the University of Baghdad Medical School, graduating in 1988. She completed her postgraduate training in Family Medicine in 1991, establishing a strong foundation in patient-centered care.
After immigrating to Canada, Dr. Al-Khoshi worked as a clinical surgical assistant in Edmonton from 2010 to 2013 and furthered her expertise with a Diploma in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University. Since 2022, she has proudly served the Cowichan Valley community through her family medicine practice.
Her educational background includes postgraduate training in Pediatrics and Women’s Health, culminating in her CCFP designation in 2024. Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Al-Khoshi has completed specialized training in injectables and is affiliated with the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.
With a focus on dermatology, she excels in minor surgery and aesthetic procedures, allowing her to merge her medical expertise with her artistic inclinations. Dr. Al-Khoshi finds profound joy in building trusting relationships with her patients, enhancing their self-confidence through aesthetic services that align their appearance with their inner selves.
